2024 Dying to Know Day
On this upcoming Dying to Know Day, Solace End of Life Services is proud to present this free community session on end of life care in Tasmania.
With two sessions planned, the morning session will focus on caring for the dying and the afternoon will focus on after death options. You are welcome to come to one of the sessions, or make a day of it and come to both. You can have a coffee at the on-site cafe in between the sessions.
Morning Session (10.30am – 12pm) includes-
Cameron Thomas – Financial Information Service, Services Australia
Jane Lock – Community Care, Nursing perspectives
Tracey Rusden – End of Life Doula, EOL Bucketlist
Kate Glover – Community Educator, Palliative Care Tasmania
Afternoon Session (1pm – 2.30pm) includes-
Rosie Hutchins – Phillip Stephens Funerals (traditional funeral and flame cremation)
Luke Cripps – Alluvium Water Cremation (water cremation)
Bec Lyons – Solace (home funeral, natural burial)
Danielle Conlan – Kindred Funerals (ceremony and legacy planning)
